An icon of Italian design in the 1970s, the Sesann collection by Gianfranco Frattini was part of a new vision of contemporary living in which ergonomics were adapted to social change, ushering in a way of sitting that is more relaxed and less formal. The Sesann features an exposed, wrap-around chrome or powder-coated tubular metal structure that contains and sculpts the upholstery, becoming one with it in a huge, soft, seamless embrace. The upholstery, embellished with extremely sophisticated detailing, is completely handcrafted with extraordinary artisan skill, making it a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Sesann is available as an armchair and a sofa three and two seaters.

Soft, enveloping shapes characterize this upholstered piece. Julep is influenced by the 1950s Avant-Garde movement, drawing upon its simplicity and grandeur, refined by a contemporary, romantic allure. The sofa, whose generous rounded lines provided evolutionary DNA for the entire collection – including an armchair, a chaise-longue and an ottoman. Fully upholstered, the seats look ample and full, yet convey a sense of lightness, thanks to the recessed base that invisibly lifts them off the floor.

The Giulia chair by Tacchini is a re-edition of the famous Model 877 by Gianfranco Frattini. Giulia is Frattini’s modern interpretation of the classic wing-back armchair. The designer uses clear, pronounced geometric lines to interpret the spacious and deep softness with its high back and lateral headrests. The shell is all one piece with the wing-like armrests and sits on a sleek wood structure. The structural elements are an integral part of the elegant esthetic, as is the decorative detail of the wood screws, left exposed, to delight the attentive eye. Giulia comes in a vast array of finishes and colors, suited to contemporary settings with a sophisticated vibe.

Lina is a re-edition of one of the earliest projects designed by Gianfranco Frattini, one of the great masters of Italian design. The armchair features an unusual wood frame that lends it a solid, yet lightweight, appearance. Its singularity lies in the slender legs and bent plywood element that supports the side of the seat back and curves up to become the ‘wing’ upon which the armrests sit. An armchair that makes a bold statement, thanks to its timeless style.

Sella is inspired by the armchair of the same name designed in 1966 by the famous Italian architect Carlo De Carli. The highly elegant armchair is made using the very finest of materials: exposed walnut, elegant metal chromed details finish shiny black and belts for the support of the backrest in refined natural leather. The cushions are filled with feathers, and are available in leather, fabric or velvet.
